An Event Focused on Climate Communication Held Under the Hosting of TÜSİAD

On 23 September 2025, an event focusing on climate communication was held at the TÜSİAD Headquarters, organised by Chapter Zero Türkiye with content support from Stantec.

The opening remarks of the event, which addressed the strategic role of communication in the fight against climate change, were delivered by Cevdet Alemdar, Head of the Chapter Zero Türkiye Steering Committee.

The event featured contributions from researcher and author Bekir Ağırdır, and Barış Doğru, Editor-in-Chief of EKOIQ and İklim Haber. Participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on effective communication strategies and appropriate tools to strengthen public understanding of the green transition and to counter misinformation and disinformation related to climate issues.

The event offered valuable insights into the critical importance of accurate and strategic climate communication for policymakers and the business community in addressing the climate crisis.
