The sustainable finance approach aims to create long-term value by evaluating not only financial performance but also environmental and social impacts. It is expected to have a transformative effect across all sectors with the adoption of sustainable finance principles. In this context, within the activities of Chapter Zero Türkiye, a webinar titled ‘The Power of Sustainable Finance: From Theory to Practice’ was held online on March 13th in collaboration with Deloitte Türkiye and TÜSİAD.

The opening speech was delivered by Murat Günaydın, Partner and Leader of Sustainability Services at Deloitte Türkiye, while the moderation was conducted by Seray İmer, Co-Chair of the TÜSİAD Sustainable Finance Sub-Working Group, discussing the perspectives of user companies on sustainable finance practices and tools in Türkiye. During the webinar, Mine Şule Yazgan, Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Risk at Arçelik, Veli Ahmet Yumuk, Corporate Finance Manager at Enerjisa Üretim, and Özkan Demir, Finance Group Manager at Kordsa, shared their companies’ sustainable finance practices and experiences in the field.
