New Report: Empowering Board Directors to Drive Climate Action

A new report titled Empowering Board Directors to Drive Climate Action in the Boardroom has been published by the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI) in collaboration with Kantar.

The report presents key findings from a global survey designed to better understand board directors’ attitudes, knowledge, and capabilities around climate action. According to the research, 89% of board directors believe it is part of their role to support climate action, while 88% highlight the need for new forms of leadership within the boardroom to effectively address climate challenges.

This research aims to strengthen support mechanisms for board directors and provide tools that enable the implementation of impactful climate strategies.
